Yongli Wang graduated with Bachelor of Computer Science at Fu Dan University in 1992 and holds Master degree in Business Administration from CEIBS.

Mr Wang joined Bayer (China) Limited as IT Manager in 1996 to help develop the Corporate Network of Bayer in China.  Since then Mr Wang held various key positions within Bayer (China) Limited where he implemented strategic Management Systems for Bayer China Group.   He also acted as Head of Regional Strategy, Bayer Polymers Asia Pacific where he was responsible for initiating and coordinating strategic projects and to identify growth opportunities for Bayer Polymers in the Asia Pacific Region afterwards.

In 2004, Mr. Wang was appointed the Managing Director of LANXESS China and promoted to president of LANXESS, Greater China in 2005. He has successfully set up LANXESS corporate culture with his team and led the business growth in Greater China in recent years. So far, LANXESS has eight legal entities including LANXESS owned companies and joint ventures in China. Meanwhile, the setup of R&D centers makes China the technology importance of LANXESS in the world. China has been the biggest and fastest growing market of LANXESS in Asia.

Yongli Wang is married with one daughter.
